i've been playing TT all the past two nights and i cannot win the TZ250 '03. i have every other challenge mode bike, and damn near every other bike in the game, except for a few of the final special machine festival, and that is mostly because i really don't want to do 10 laps of the new york track.

but the TZ250, i cannot win it.
can't
it's driving my insane.
i've tried all kinds of riding positions, and control settings (i thought maybe the key to victory was powersliding, i was wrong)
i
can't
do
it.

i'm starting to get tired of losing time and time again to thoes smug little yama-bastards. i catch the first rider and then can never quite get close enough to pass the second.
this TZ is the reason i took a loooong break from TT in the first place. got tired of seeing the word "loser" on the screen every two laps.
went and played GT4, and for a while, even Animal Crossing.

so afer returning from two stroke burn-out rehab i have returned to find myself stuck right where i was before.

anybody else feel like this? or is it just me that can't win the TZ250?
The final measure of any rider's skill is the inverse ratio of his preferred Traveling Speed to the number of bad scars on his body. It is that simple: If you ride fast and crash, you are a bad rider. And if you are a bad rider, you should not ride motorcycles.

Is this the $13 game?  I'm thinking of picking it up.

I need a new power cable for the PS2 though, it got lost in my last move.  Know of any cheap sources?

Tourist Trophy is still full price.  The Isle of Man game is only $13 (plus two otehr pretty cool games).

I, personally, like riding my TZ250 :p

it's funy that everybody is finding this 13 dollar game (not really called "the 13 dollar game" it's called "Suzuki TT superbikes"), i saw it at some local store a few months ago, they wanted 17 dolars, i passed, but when it did drop to 13, i went for it. finally a game where you actually have to struggle to keep the front of a liter bike planted, and sidecars! what more do i have to say?

except for, damn you mak for being better at winning TZ250's!

arg, the only place i've ridden that tz is in the challenge, i reallly want to use it on other tracks, like trial mountain, laguna seca, and seattle city, that would be cool too.
i can always take the TZ125 '03 and just not look at the speedometer and pretend i've got more displacement, but it's just not the same.
i lust for the most wicked pocket bike in the universe.

so, mak, any secret formula for winning, or did it just involve less bad riding, and more good riding?

It took me a long time to win the TZ250 as well, and I believe the key was setting up a few of the corners with the right entry speed and line.

Well, I know what I'm doing tonight.  Haven't put that game in the PS2 for a while, its about time....

Ride fasterer.

Anyone who wants the TT Superbikes game can hit me up...the lubbock wally world still has them for $13 (plus comes with rebel raiders and DT racer).
