Still decent price I suppose, but that's a bullshit way of getting more money for your crap.

thats not a bad shipping price for a somewhat large bulky item, and shipping is exempt from ebay fees....

16 seconds? I have my sniper account set at 6 seconds!

But it's light as hell, what does that can weigh, 2lbs? 3lbs if it's stainless?

I shipped a freakin guitar in a case that was 4.5 feet tall, 6 inches thick and 2 feet wide (cardboard box around the case with tons of packing bubblewrap in between) for 20 bucks from Cali to MI or some New England state.  That cost me 22 bucks thru FedEx and it weighed somewhere around 15#.

Damnit, I need to go back to writing that fugging paper.  shaZam!.

It'll cost $8 to ship that domesticly (I ship a LOT of mufflers).  That's a lot of money for handling.

However almost every muffler on ebay is like that.

pantablo

well I just shipped something the size of a camera and it cost me $22. residential UPS ground delivery. Ground, not overnight. residential is more expensive for some reason...

That's odd, I've shipped a couple small guitar amps bigger than that silencer and they were both ~15 bucks.  Lots heavier too, but I almost exclusively use FedEx.  UPS has almost always been more expensive.

I would say "wow pablo, you got gyp'ed" but I know it's because you went to a store to have it done.

There's a business in town with an account and I have all my packages sent through them.  I've sent 125lb 5-spd RX-7 transmissions for $35 to Maine doing this.  USPS is MUCH cheaper when it comes to shipping stuff and not having access to an accountholder.

Sheesh! Real Men don't use sniper programs.

My dearest trophy is my original Suzuki repair manual. Shot it with zero seconds remaining....

I've used UPS at work for the past 15 years or so.  Recently their prices are going out the roof, if we didn't have a contract with them I'd cancel it and go with FedEx.  FedEx is cheaper but UPS looses less boxes.  USPS is the cheapest, Ebay people that jack up the shipping are just tring to make extra money.

Snipper programs, I just put in my max bid and leave if I win I win if I don't oh well there's always another one for sale sooner or later.

True, but you pay more than necessary that way. Give the late, but not very late, bidders opportunity to test your bid. (Not to mention pushing practices.)

blue05twin

true I also look to see the previous bidders, and when I see people with 0 feedbacks just pushing prices I won't place a bid at all.
