I asked the photo Nerds on this sight for advise on getting the wife a camera for christmas.  You guys were muy helpful and I appreciate it.

Check out these pics I took of my Son.  To me (the untrained eye) these are good pictures.

HOW could I have done better?

Not the brightest crayon in the box, but I can still be seen from a distance.  ;P

I don't know a thing about taking pics, but your son is absolutely ADORABLE!  :kiss3: You're going to have to get out the shotgun before he turns 10!  :laugh: (Wait, I'll bet he's all ready a chick magnet! ;))

my only suggestion would be, try to get the top of his head in there too.

I don't know how you got the "blueeye" but I think it makes the pic eye catching. keep it/recreate it if you can  :thumb:

His eyes are hazel, like his Granddad. I have been practicing "framing" the pics, but photography isn't much fun for me.  Seems like every 20 shots I take are useless.

I think this little camera will do for now. Maybe I'll get her a book on amatuer photography.
