This may be a repeat for a lot of you, but it was new to me when I encountered it on the FZR board.

The format is annoying (e-zine thingy), but it's a really interesting read.  The Pilot Powers came in 3rd overall.  (The 1st and 2nd place tires wouldn't fit on our bikes with any wheel swap known to man.)

On another note, some forums are saying the Dunlop Qualifiers are better than the Pilot Powers.  It may not matter, because the smallest one seems to be a 160/60, which I assume would be too close for comfort.  (Since it was another Dunlop that was known to not fit at 160.)

Wow, is that common for motorcycle mags?  That format looks like it was done by a tweaking heroin addict on crack with ADD.
Sorry, I won't answer motorcycle questions anymore.  I'm not f%$king friendly enough for this board.  Ask me at:

Pilot Powers came in third, behind two dedicated RACE tires. That should say something about how nice they are.

When I wear down my current D208SMs I'm going to go with either the Pilot Powers, or some Continental Contiforce SMs.

My experience with the Pilot Powers was very positive. I really enjoyed the time I got on them (1000+ miles) and would definitely recommend them to someone who has done a Kat wheel swap. However, I did notice that the rear didn't feel nearly as planted when the temperatures (air and road) were pretty high. Texas summers can make the road EXTREMELY hot, but it seemed to only be a problem around town, never on the track or on twisty rides.

It's too bad they dropped the Pilot Sports...seemed like a good compromise between the pretty hard Road and super-soft (basically race compound) Powers.  I do not like the Pilot Road rear that replaced the Pilot Sports I had been running at all on my stock wheeled GS.  Still have a Pilot Sport front, so maybe switching that to a Road would even it up.

Looks like that's a 3rd party company that just hosts certain mags/issues.  So they spend $x/yr per subscription .. scan it .. and charge every reader that same amount .....

Oh - and for An (et al), they apparently carry "adult" magazines ... and the Advocate.

Oh, I assumed Egaeus was talking about the nuts with labcoats and fake hair and all the bright primary colors.  But  the custom interface to load a bunch of jpg files is dodgy, too.

I just got my Katana rim in the mail, and I'll be ordering my Pilot Powers shortly so they'll be ready to roll as soon as the weather is nice and the bike is assembled.
