I bought this 1996 GS500E in July 2007, I am moving and unfortunately can't take the bike with me. There are 15,355 miles on the bike at the moment. Last year I replaced the fuel lines, inline fuel filter, air filter and cleaned out the carbs replacing all of the rings and jets inside. Since then the bike has been running great and the only issue is a dying battery that will probably need to be replaced soon (I have a battery tender I will include with the bike so you can keep it charged even if you can't ride it regularly). The previous owner did the fenderectomy.  I have a jet kit that I never got around to installing.  The grips are ProGrip RVGS Open End Model 719 Gel Grips.  The right mirror was broken off by the previous owner, I replaced the bracket but never bothered installing another mirror.  There is a tear in the passenger seat and the clear coat on the top of the tank is peeling off.  I can email better pictures to anyone seriously interested.  $1350

I have a brand new set of Pirelli Sport Demon tires that I never got a chance to put on, I'll throw them in for an extra $150 with the bike.

Thanks for looking.

Sorry, down to $1450 now.  I was just updating the price in the original post.

$1350 anyone?  If not it's going into storage on Friday   :icon_confused:

I'm going to be back in town this weekend.  Anyone interested in saving this poor motorcycle from wasting away in storage?  Should still be running fine after I get the battery charged back up.  First one in Tampa with $1200 cash takes it, 10/15 to 10/17 only.

Wish I was closer and had the extra money. Although it would be a nice fly or take a bus ride down and ride the bike home trip.
