Hey strangers. Haven't been on in a while due to several sucky reasons which I wont get into right now, but I figure I'd show you the images I shot over at the International Motorcycle Show in Long Beach this past weekend.

My International Motorcycle Show pics.

By far, the best things there were:

Wait.   What is that CBR?  That thing looks bad ass?

I'm a big fan of the '07 RR.  I didn't realize that the upper fairing was molded into the gas tank.  That is a sweet lookin' bike.

When do you pick  yours up?

The 600RR drew one of the biggest crowds and definitely was the highlight of the show for me. I walked around and sat on all of the different 600s first purposely leaving the Honda for last. Spent a fair amount of time with and on the new ZX-6R (which I still think is a better looking bike). Never really liked the look of the '07 600RR from any of the pics I saw before, but that changed almost immediately after seeing it in person. It's simply gorgeous. I sat down in it and immediately notices my feet flat on the floor. This isn't the case on my '06 600RR and I know the seat height didn't change between the years. I turned to the reps and said, "you guys lowered this for the show." They said no and that the seat is just much thinner. Indeed it is. Even though the seat shape, bar height, and reach is completely different from my '06, the new CBR immediately felt right. The same "old friend" feeling I had when my '06 was new. The most apparent difference I noticed between the CBR and other 600s was the weight. They're all dry so it's hard to compare it to my bike, but compared to the other dry bikes, it's incredibly light.

I'll have to ride it to make a final decision, but at this point, I wont be surprised if I traded my '06 600RR for the '07.

Well you'll have to let us know what it is like, if you ride one.  The '07 is supposed to be up on power a lot from last year.

I guess I wouldn't be surprised if I traded my bike for an '07 Z1000.  It is going to be a long winter.  :)

I love this bike. It might convert me to twins...
I agree on the zx6r-I was surprised by it. Great bike.
Anyone else notice how its IMPOSSIBLE to put down the sidestand on the z1000? You can't reach it with your foot-too far under the bike...

I could figure out how to live with the sidestand on the new Z1000.

As for the 1098, I'd settle for the all red one.  $15k is a great price for that beast.

Pablo, you have to be about ready for a new bike.

Working a ton here. There's always a push to complete the vehicle model year before the year starts.

Man Pablo, I want in if there's a chance to ride that thing. If I had the money, it'd go straight to a Ten-Nine-Eight S Tricolore. That's gotta be one of the most beautiful bikes I've ever laid eyes on.
