OT honda scooter advice

I am looking to get my wife a scooter for Xmas and found a local 2002 Honda Metropolitan for sale.  Does anyone have any experience with this scooter pros/cons?  It has < 700 miles and the owner is looking for $975 so it seems pretty reasonable

I have seen a lot of those buzzing around here.  They seem pretty good for what they are and Hondas are generally pretty darn reliable.  The kbb value is a little over 1200 so 975 is a steal if undamaged.  other than that i can't attest to that specific scooter, never ridden or worked on one.  They do have some good underseat storage though for being as small as they are
