I'm glad the electric car is back...  But, it really is nothing new.  Saturn had a production model 15 years ago.  It was bad-ass...  But, the recalled ALL of them.

You're talking about the EV1 made by and marketed under GM directly and not Saturn, although they were only sold on Saturn lots. Pretty nice car, but not reliable or safe in the long run. GM recalling all of them is a big made-up myth too. People who wanted them were ONLY given three year leases by GM and, after, they had to return the vehicle. There's a lot more consumer hyped "controversy" surrounding that car which is the basis of the flick Who Killed the Electric Car?. Please don't waste your money to see that entirely made up piece fiction.

Neither can I. Although it's kinda hard to see it, electric vehicles and battery technology has come a long way and we can expect some good things in the future for sure!

hehe I'm still waiting on the Bugatti they promised us months ago. Maybe we can set it up so you'll, by coincidence of course, come by to consult us on the new offices we're building the day we happen to get it in.

Old post revival...

I've been watching Tesla ever since this was posted here.  I've enjoyed reading their blog at www.teslamotors.com and reading all the press they're getting.  I can't say I've really had a dream car in the past few years, but for the time being, this car is it.  I think the first 200 cars have already been sold and they're taking orders beyond that.  I can't wait to see the company take off and for the technology to advance and trickle down.  Either electric cars will take over the roads soon or I've been buying into their sales pitches way to much.

I guess I have no real point, I was just reading the blog... remembering when I first found out about Tesla
