They're hoping to go on air around June 07.  Sounds like they could use some help getting sponsers, so if you want to see it, start writing letters to your favorite motorcycle company (Suzuki anyone?).

QuoteWhat drives us
Like you, we have sat around the TV on any given night waiting for a particular network to air an ever-popular show centered around a hard-core, dysfunctional family as they build bikes in their motorcycle garage... because that's all there is on TV.  We've changed the channel to watch motorcycle races on a really fast network, only to find that they are canceling many of their programs to air NASCAR.  Fine... we'll take it from here!  And of course, like you, while watching Sunday afternoon football games, we've seen the humorus Harley commercials or Honda motorcycle commercials, and thought, "Hey... somthing from 'our world'!"  So we decided to create a television network totally dedicated to all types of motorcycles.  Wasn't it about time?

People
Over the next six months, we'll be looking for producers for many of our shows.  Everyone knows that there is always a rivalry between bike owners of different brands.  My bike's better than your bike!  But like the rivalry between the Navy and the Marine Corps, when the war is on, we're all in this together.  That is evident when we're on our bikes, passing each other on the street... and we all put out the "two-fingers-45 degree-down-angle" wave to one another - cruiser/standard rider to sportbike rider.  We're on the same team.  So at the Motorcycle Channel, we want those who are fanatics about their brand of bike, their world in the motorcycle community to be the ones who produce shows about their world.  The Motorcycle Channel convergence... can't we all just get along?!

Company
Our network is based in Southern California, near the real OC...the mecca for good weather and good riding.  But we will have a production "presence" all around the U.S.  We're discussing airing programs about motorcyclists and clubs from around the world!  We're coming to shoot you and your bike... and we mean that in the production sense of the word shoot.  We look forward to a long relationship with the bike community.  So, ride safe, ride long... just get out there and ride!

They say they're shooting to have it on basic cable and satellite... I don't know that I'd keep my hopes up though

Speed Channel rocks if you have DVR or TIVO.  You can record all episodes of Pinks, Super Bikes, Redline TV, Tuner Challenge, American Muscle, Car and Driver, Two Guys Garage, Chop Cut Rebuild, V-Twin, and all the MotoGP and AMA Races and then watch them at your pleasure without having to wade through all the NASCAR week in review shows.

That was a long sentence.   But Motorcycle TV sounds great to me!
