tach from parts n more

my bike came without tach wondering if i can pop this thing in: TACHOMETER - 0-12,000RPM
All Suzuki - Ratio 1:4, Honda 750 - 1000cc 1:4  i dunno about the honda stuff but its on the partsnmore.com website where im also buying a couple carb rebuild kits. thanks heres the link http://www.partsnmore.net/item_index.php?part_unique=2643  i have the mount for the tach just no tach

I haven't ventured into the realm of tachometers in this bike.  But, I think it will work if it is the right ratio for the gearing in the head.

Looks like it would work okay, but is it the same size as the stock tach? They don't list any dimensions on the site. I might drop them an email to find out, as both of my gauges could use replacing.

yea i dont know looks kinda sketchy so i think ill just wait for one to make its way on ebay

I guess you need to decide between originality and functionality and how important it is to you.

That is a mechanical tach, isn't it?
