opps you are right it is a 89 i earned it working at my inlaws shop for $500 bones a friend of his raced it one time. the forks were bent so i put some gsx 600 forks on just need to get spacers for it and ready to ride

Are you sure it's an '87 GS500? Cuz they weren't released until '89... so is it a GS550, the 4cyl version released before the gs500?
