I test rode a K1200r today. 163hp on a 465lb naked bike. god DAMN that thing was fast. and extremely smooth and well mannered. i REALLY liked it, but i cant even begin to dream about affording it.

bmw dealer here has a fleet of demo bikes.
i just went in, looked around, started checking out the k1200r, talked to the salesman, he was like, we do have a demo unit if you want to give it a try.

so i said hell yes, gave em my license and credit card (they put a $2000 hold on it until you come back with the bike in one piece), we went out and explained all the controls to me, and made me test the brakes a few times to make sure i was comfortable with them (they are power assisted and are hands down the most powerful brakes ive ever experienced
) and off i went.

My buddy got a k1200s a while back...   Crazy ass bike.

It only gets like 40 MPG though.
