GS500 colors... the early years

Is this an original GS color?  I've never seen it before.  I don't see it in the color matrix, maybe it's the 91 blue?

Yeah, just by looking at the paint I think it is a '91.

Not a 91 blue. I have one, I should know. 91 is blue and decals are silver and magenta. There is no 2 tone. This looks like a replica of a 90 but with blue and white instead of black or red basic solid color and silver or white decals. Eitherway, the color looks too dark to be any of those early years. 97 was the closest blue to this I think.

take a look through the photo gallery. I dont think the blue/white was a stock color combo on that bike. I could easily be wrong though.

Adding my negative to this discourse. I've been/was watching this for the census/price page and noticed that first off.

I think it is a repaint/relabel job.

+1 on not 91. Mine's a 91 and it's a lighter/brighter blue with silver and magenta.

and it is also not a 97 either, cause the engine is black. the 97's went to silver color on the engine it almost looks like the 95-5 purple

my 95 was a lovely shade of teal.
