Exhaust question

This may be totally stupid, but I have to ask. I started the gs up today and was letting it warm up, nothing out of the ordinary. a little white exhaust from steam and cold and whatnot, but normal.

I walked around to the exhaust side to just doublecheck everything, and noticed that there was a small vent of steam coming from just BEFORE the can--down at the bottom where the two edges of the chromed can meet.

Is this a problem, or did I just never notice?

There's a small hole to drain condensation from the can.  Sometimes you get a puff or two around there.

Thanks y'all. Good to know I'm not broken--just blind.
