01/09/07 Grange Experience: with the Champ!

i just got to share this to you guys...so i went to Grange kart track in apple valley, ca to ride me little Nsr50r...i

thought i was gonna be there by myself..but boy was i wrong...Nicky Hayden was there... sharing the track

with me on his 450 "josh hayes duel at the docks" supermoto...he came in with his trainer Elden...it was his first

time out since his surgery..."warming it up" says nicky...he's heading to malaysia this weekend according to his

trainer for some testing...in the am its was just me and him riding Grange but after lunch Elden and his mech Jason

went out in the track with me...06 MotoGP champ was a very cool dude...even complimented my HRC machine ...the

only thing that sucked was that my digital camera was broken (i would've taken action shots), but here's some of

I've heard of others running into him  at Grange(figuratively, since Danny isnt there, LOL).

i was afraid id torpedo'ed him like the dani p did...erase that...i was afraid he'll rear end me

That's awesome! Did he ride the SM roadracer or dirt style? I'm guessing dirt style given his background, but rumor has it he's a halfway decent roadracer.

road racer style....he was "taking it easy" as the doctor advised him to but boy does he slide with the SM with his knee down....

then you can imagine how great my feeling was seeing him making a pass on his SM with me on the track
