It's the MP3 by Piaggio
Yes, it can stand without the leg due to an hydraulic system that can lock the front wheels. It's available in 125, 250 and soon 400cc engine capacity. I saw it live in highway and it seems a little strange :D

Hang out there, we may flame, but we don't hate.

My attitude is in serious need of readjustment, and I'm ok with that.

What women!?  :dunno_white:

Those bikes and cars are... HAWT!  :thumb:

The Monster S4Rs and the Hypermotard are both availible in the US soon. Also, the MV Agusta F4 1000 and the Moto Guzzi Griso are as well. I know a guy here in the states that has the Tuono (there is an Aprilia dealer about 5 miles away from me) and someone with a Husky supermoto. The Bimota Tesi is only coming in EXTREMELY limited numbers, so it is unlikely I'll actually ever see one, but it is actually being imported. As for Vespas, well, they buzz all over campus here  :icon_razz:

Ferraris, while rare, still have a steady dealership here in Austin, TX. They co-sell with Lotus, Lamborghini, and some Porsches. As for the Alfa Romeos, Lancias, and Maseratis, I only wish we got more of those here... so gorgeous.

hah well you got me there I guess I just overlooked it while I was drooling over some of the cars and bikes from italy lol.

cool design but I would imagine parts might wear out quicker than a regular motorcycle? could you call it that?

I dunno WHAT to call it.. it's not a car.. but it's hardly a bike.. I guess, technically speaking, it's a trike?

What makes you think parts would wear quicker?

Also.. look under the bike at the exhaust on the far side.. it looks like he's almost scraping it, and he's barely leaning.. can't imagine one of those would be good for intense corner carving.. but for commuting, I bet it's a blast!

oh  :flipoff: [attitude intentional]

I was thinking more for disabled folks. If you have no use of your legs or only partial, ridding a motorcycle is kinda out of the question. a trike is just a three wheeled convertible, not a motorcycle. this thing (MP3) you can actually lean over, (be it not far) it may be the first to cader (spl) to the disabled.  :dunno_white:

well this is just my speculation but I would think the hydraulic parts constantly going up and down could wear out easier but with modern engineering who knows. Im sure I will never know lol.

Well, MP3 is coming out from the factory only since 2006, so it's not time to discuss the reliability yet, I hope it's not intended for bike riders, but for those who won't be afraid to fall down with their commuting scooter. It's quite impossibile to slide yet.
For me, it's not a bad machine, maybe something new and refineable, for sure (gilera is doing that). It' a smart choice between cars and scooter if developed well, I hope it would take not a century...

Alpha, that wasn't an S4Rs.  Its an S2R1000.  Notice the 2 valve heads and lack of water cooling.

Lets not post pictures of Monsters...I'm still mourning.

Ok, fine. Italian everything--cars, culture, clothes, coffee, wine, accessories, cities, motorcycles, architecture, women-- is better designed, infinitely more beautiful, classy, expensive, posh, amazing, clever, sexy, and with a rich history that goes back thousands of years.

You're forgetting about movies:

Fellini's 8 & 1/2, and

La Dolce Vita

Yea I want to go to Milan and cruise around Italy on a Ducati or a Moto Guzzi. That would be nice.

arkanoid

maybe Italy is not more like Fellini's or Visconti's, but it would be great, anyway  :thumb:

....and food here is *another thing* :D

What about the women?...mmm...some years ago I saw an interesting comparison on a web site....a large, fat ass sit on a poor chair compared to a nice, perfect bottom.....I let you choose the one :D
