I'm double posting this, sorry. I dont know if anyone has been checking the meet and greet page lately because I've posted about a trip I'm planning to Deals Gap
I'm planning February 16-21 I'll spend the weekend up at the Gap then head over to Norris Dam state park in Tennessee. http://www.state.tn.us/environment/parks/NorrisDam/index.shtml I'm not sure if I'll stay at campground at the Gap or what, depends on the weather. I'll be heading out of New Orleans on Friday. It should be a fun trip, we had a blast back over the summer. Norris Dam, beautiful water, great fishing. Prob not during February, but nonetheless. I'm actually gonna try and make it to the Gap for this.

When I was there this summer we rented a cabin that had room for about 12 people with a huge (6-8 car) heated garage.  It was $1000 for a whole week which when divided up among 12 people is nothing at all.  It was right past the Cherohola Skyway and about 15 miles from the Gap.  Real nice and worth a check.  You'll pay way more if you want to stay at the Gap's Hotel thing.

My 2 roommates, my brother, my father, and I are all heading out there this June.  They've all been there before, but It'll be my first time.  I can't wait.

+1 on the good time last summer.  I can't do Feb., but I am going to be down during June again this year.  I'll post up the dates soon so that maybe we can get another *bigger* gstwin rally goin' on!

well i would love to go but can't really do anything until after my wedding.  I hate planning........

What a coincidence.

I have a business trip to Ft. Campbell from the 5th to the 16th.  On the 16th I will be driving south through Tennesee.  Plus that Monday is Washingtons birthday.

A three day weekend is feasible and to top it off the trip there will be comped by my company.  I can't pass it up.

Only thing is trying to get my GS500 into my POS station wagon. It sure as hell won't fit in my dodge Stratus.

I am gonna go home and see if I might get it to fit.  I think if I take the front forks off it will slide right in.

Ironically I have a trailer sitting in my yard but no hitch on my vehicles.  the Wagon will have to do.

If, of course, I am invited.

Unless you have a tall station wagon I am pretty sure that it won't fit.  Mine wouldn't fit in the back of my jeep by and inch, go figure, thats why i have my pickup now.  Hitches are cheap and relatively easy to install and since you have the trailor i would go for it.  Plus if it does fit the moto might smell up the station wagon like gas and that wouldn't be cool.

It's a POS.  It prolly already smells like gas.

Worst case I will try draining the oil and leaning it sideways. 

If not I may just show up and touch myself at the sight of all those bikes. 

By the way, who's putting me up for the night?  I can bring camping gear, or rent a room. whatever, I just never been there.
