88' vs 89' head light?

What is the difference between an 88' headlight and an 89'?

There is a halogen headlight on Ebay but the guy says it only fits an 88'

Anyone know?

There was no GS500 twin in 1988.

Any H4 or 9003 bulb will fit any GS500's stock headlight system.

I use a Sylvania SilverStar available at most auto parts stores. Great bulb. A bit pricey, but worth the convenience when you need one without having to order one online.

I checked this site. I may be looking for something that doesn't exist - Is there a replacement head light blub (big round thing in front)

for the GS??? Something brighter than stock?
