Has anyone run these? I haven't seen them in GsJack's threads. These are available from swmototires.com with free shipping and since I can't get the AV45/46 there anymore, I may pick these radial Dunlops up. Let me know your experience!

I've never tried the D205 tires myself, they are an old design and most of the other sport touring tires are much newer.  The D205 would be at the bottom of my list of tires I'd try.

I see swmoto is on vacation and won't be back online till saturday so I'm going by memory here.  There are other places to get the AV45/46 tires although I'm not sure how the prices compare.  I've bought tires from both of these places as well as swmoto:

http://www.americanmototire.com/

http://www.chaparral-racing.com/Chaparral/dept.asp?dept_id=456&mscssid=03DB8F0E35CB44694BD898911F2D886D&Gift=false&GiftID=

The AV45/46 tires have been superceeded by the new AV55/56 Storm tires but the AV45/46 are still being produced in a limited number of sizes not available in the Storms including the 110/80 and 140/80 sizes.  If you try the D205, you can let us know how they work on the GS.   :thumb:

I've not been too happy with any of the front radials I've tried and the 110/80 Lasertec is my favorite front now and my current Lasertec/RoadAttack combo is my current favorite.  If I try another AV46 rear, I'll run it with a Lasertec front.  Just my opinion based on my experiences.  I have the wheel and AV36 tire from the old 97 GS on my 02 GS right now and the Laser/AV36 combo is working real nice.  The AV36 is not as sticky as the RoadAttack but it is sticky enough for me.

New tires come out frequently so tire opinions change frequently too!
