Watership Down

Really great film.  However, I made the mistake of subjecting my 3 year old and 4.5 year old to it this past weekend, and I'm still dealing with having them crawl into my bed at 4am because they're having nightmares.

Still, it's worth the watch..

I read that book when I was a kid, but I don't remember much of the plot.  I just remember enjoying reading it.  I'll have to swing by the library and pick it up.

Never saw the movie, I can't imagine it could be as good as the book.

I didn't realize it was a book.  From my experience in book-to-movie productions, I really should read the book.

Maybe.  But it has to be better than watching the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.  You have no idea how many times I've caught my son practicing moves with his bando (household broomstick) on his sister.

Tharn ftw.  For the uninitiated - it basically describes the "deer caught in the headlights" look.  Where you're so shocked/surprised/whatever, that you just stand there in a daze.  Not necessarily fear, but it could be.  I guess it's that split second before the fight/flight reaction kicks in.
