so I have an idea for an adjustable rear sprocket, somthing that you could adjust by simply pop off the outer ring with teeth and put on larger or smaller sprockets. you can see how the front brake rotor is made so technically somthing like this could work for a rear sprocket right? this would allow people to change thier gear ration where ever they are for whatever app they wanted. im going to see if I can come up with somthing for this. it may or may not work but its always worth a try. I was thinking of one you could just adjust kind of like expanding and contracting but I dont think that would work so well in my yet atleast lol.

thoughts? comments? Ideas?

Could work if it doesn't "Float" like a Rotor.
If it's Not Broke Modify it.

I have seen 2-piece sprockets that can be changed without removing the wheel.
Common sense in not very common.

Yup, we use two piece sprockets in karting. You can cut them with a hacksaw in between teeth as long as they go back together the same way they came apart.

Stupid hurts. Dress for the crash, not for the ride.
