Why do I find out about more dead people HERE than I do on the news....

I check the news DAILY, several times a day and BOTH times I found out about Steve Irwin's and Anna Nicole's deaths in the O&E forum.

It's very strange. It's like the most up to date news source for dead celebs

I get news flashes from places like MSNBC and the NY Times. Anna Nicole's life was seemed like one long battle of one sort or another... I'd hate to have to live on a day-to-day basis with that much drama. May she have more peace in death than she did in life.

i dont have anyhting nice to say about her, nor do i have anything negative. i didnt know her. and well it seems harsh, but well it doesnt bother me. i mean i feel bad someone dies, but i dont know her. ( personally), but i do hope she is better off whereever she ends up

She certainly had struggles....and she made a lot of her own drama...I think what makes me so sad is that after all the fights/drama/struggles/etc, she drops dead. That's just so damned sad to me...to go through all the strife, and then just drop dead at such a young age. Yeesh...

Yeah....after struggles, challenges, strife, etc, I want to live to be a cranky old lady with 80 cats, preferrably being rich and having offspring to torment with the money...I wouldn't want to just drop dead!

Really, those "Trim Spa baby!" ads were infuriating. (Of course that's just a weird coincidence for me to think of, but honestly that's as close as most any of us got to knowing her.)

I'm sorry but the way I'm wired up if I start thinking to much about something tragic happening to someone, whether I know them or not I'll start crying. (Yeah I know, leave me alone about alright? It's why I come off as an insensitive prick.)

So yeah it's sad, but if I'm crying for people I don't know I think I'll cry for someone who died of hunger somewhere or something like that. (I can only cry so much.)

If I dropped dead tomorrow noone would give a shaZam!.
I don't spend my time grieving celebrities, or giving them the attention they crave.

+1, I really don't care either. She did totally rip off that family years back when she was 26 and married that 89 year old guy, then about a year later he dies and leaves her half a billion dollars. Sound like a gold digger??? hmmmm YESSSSSSSSSSS!

golddigger yes, but how did she rip off the family? for 1. she was in a legal will, 2. the family never gave it up, instead they have spent millions on lawyer fees so she couldn't have it.
