first bike ride in 15 years!!

Well the day finally came - picked up my first bike in 15 years - suzuki GS500E, 1998 model (Orange & Black). 

bit of a vervous start - few times around the car park to get a feell for it then ready for the 20 mile ride home! What can I say - wow! What had I been missing! Apart from the fact that the weather was sleeting and about 4 degrees C (40F), a good first ride. No problems with bike - more problems with the rider getting used to leaning into corners after driving a car only for the past 15 Years!

There you go. Off to a good start... Definatly anticipating summer here on the east coast CAN... where a 4 month winter season can feel like 15 years... Nonetheless, welcome to this great board and congratulations on getting back into the great hobby of riding.

Welcome back to riding!  I know what you mean about learning how to lean into corners again.  A few months ago I took my first ride in about 12 years.  Talk about rusty!  It soon get better, so have fun!
