lol I voted for myself. a new issue has arose. now she called me from work again and said they will be there all night and that I better come tomorrow morn. so she asked if I was coming tomorrow , and I said  "I will talk to you about it when you are not at work, so call me when you get off" she said "you are mad arent you?" I said " I have no emotions towards it, I want to talk to you about it when you get off work, you are there to work and i want you to do your job well. so talk to me about it when you get off" .   that was the end of the convo.

ofcourse Im not going up there tomorrow or atleast till the morning. Im going to hang out with my friend mike and drink at my favorite bars downtown and forget that I ever had plans this weekend in the first place . :)

girl made plans last week to come see me, girl got called into work even though she told them she would be in Richmond for the weekend.

girl cancels plans, I get pissed. realize its just one of those things and say im sorry but let her know how breaking plans bothers me. everything is cool

we make plans for me to come to see her in MD this weekend. first she calls and sais for me to leave 3 hours later than I was, because of her job was making her work over time.

then she calls and sais for me to just come tomorrow morning because she will be there all night.

= Result is,,,, I am pissed and sick of this because its going to happen every freeken time.  either it changes or I move on.

summerized enough ? lol

Sounds like her job is more important to her than you, or in keeping plans with anybody.
The motorcycle is no longer the hobby, the skill has become the hobby.

Try explaining to her how this hurts you.

Because if you are like me anger just happens to be what comes out first. (In this case it would take the form of righteous indignation.)

I only get angry when I'm hurt by something.
Rich, RIP.

ok so she understands everything now and we are cool. she wants to put in her two weeks notice and move back to Richmond  in this next 2 weeks. I told her not to do it just for me though. although doing it for me shows some serious dedication.

she told me I hurt her feelings when I called her Job a slave job so I appaulogized for that told her I just didnt like her job working her like a slave all the time. she mis-read my statment.

she told me that her co-worker might be going through a divorce soon becuase his wife is threatning him with that unless he finds a new job because hes never home with this one.

How long have you been dating?  I never had this problem when I was dating because I dated 2 or 3 women at a time.  If one acted strange or whatever, I'd just scratch her off the list, and I had 2 or 3 more in the stable.  Eventually I found one that I really liked and connected with, and cut the rest out of the picture.  Then I focused all my energy and emotions on this one person.  options make life so much easier.  If you don't like the way your girlfriend acts, fire her, hold some interviews, and hire a new one.  Until you are engaged or married, never be affraid to walk away from a relationship.  There is no such thing as a "soul mate."  You can be very happy with someone else.  Never forget that.

that is some of the best advice i've heard in a long time. well put, jarrett.

i dated a girl for 2.5 yrs before i moved to northern cal. (from socal) and now we're 500 miles apart and she still won't let go, no matter how much i tell her it's over. i'm so sick of dealing with girly bull poo... the odd thing is, in that 2.5 yrs, we never once had an argument. we disagreed on a few things but never once got angry at eachother. now shes a freaking psyco...

Jarrett and I agree on something! Outstanding!  ;) This is excellent advice/wisdom.  :thumb: People too often don't hold themselves in high enough esteem to 1. expect to be treated well and respected, and 2. believe that they're worth more than being treated like dirt (and ditching anyone who *doesn't* treat them well).

I completely concur that if you don't like how someone is treating you--and after talking with them, they think they're doing just fine by you--it's time to move on! Life is too damned short to be treated like dirt.  :dunno_white:
