restore to original state

well ive pretty much made up my mind on what im going to do with it but I wanted to see what other people would do with the bike if they owned it.

I'd say restore it... obviously get it running perfect first.  If you want to keep some character, keep the original paint (assuming it's original), unless it is in terrible condition

+1  that bike is sweet.   Restore and repaint everything except the tank and fenders.  Just polish those up and she will look great.

that was the same vote I casted for it. I am keeping the original paint because of its charater it is still in pretty good condition. I will be clear coating over it all or laquiring I guess somthing to keep it good and shiny.  the only non original part will be the handle bars. and im not sure if Im going to do the chrome thing or not.
