Coulda knocked the rear wheel adjusters out of whack, look at them and make sure the adjustment marks are the same on each side.

Hang out there, we may flame, but we don't hate.

My attitude is in serious need of readjustment, and I'm ok with that.

Sounds like you might have been bitten by a squid.  It sometimes happens while sleeping or doing some common mundane tasks.  The squids mouth is not very big, so most times you don't even feel the bite.  Sounds to me like you got a large amount of squid venom in you.  You should so see a doctor soon.

I show off my mad skillz every time I ride. If I ain't hoistin' a phat one, I'm posin' at the local bux in my matching gear. I just hate it when I have an off day and my mad skillz feel more wimpy than mad.  :icon_lol: :icon_mrgreen:

haha i'm not a squid, do you stunt?

I pop my front end up, but I can't ride it out on my GS.  I put a 15t on a couple days ago and it made the front end come up much easier.

really? where can i get a 15t sprocket? and how much are they?  also if you want to make it come up a lot easier stand on the back pegs, bounce the front with arms and legs the when its decompressing on the forks give it gas it will come up really easy, it was scary thinkin about doing it but once i did it  it was nothin, and i cant really ride them, cause i havent tried it on a long stretch of rode where there are no cars or a big parking lot. and also the tire on our gs's are small in diameter (thin) so its harder to balance. but i do stoppies too, cant really ride them out but i can get it up there.

NiceGuysFinishLast

if you REALLY want wheelie power, buy a 14t sprocket from sprocket specialists.. should run you about $15 plus shipping.  Stoppies are not going to be easy to ride out on the GS with its wimpy forks and single disc/caliper.

If he gets the 14t, I call dibs on the gauges, the grab bar, and the grab rail mounts (if it's an '01+).

I got mine from the dealer for $15.  You can order them online too.

I call dibs on the engine.  Please put some case guards on so the engine wont be all rashed up when I get it.

they go all the way down to a 12T in the front.  my suggestion is a 15T in the front and a 45T in the rear.   they are very cheep to buy as well. now if you go with a 45T in the rear you must get a longer chain.

so what size sprockets you guys reccomend?

a combo of 15t in the from and a 45t in the rear and purchase a longer change. they even sell kits on bike bandit. I am very happy with the JT sprockets on my bike. I have a 15T installed and a 45t lying around because I dont want to kill my top end but so much. when I buy a newer bike ill put the 45t on the bike. it is a super easy Mod.

The fewer teeth in the front, the easier it is to get the front end up because of change in gear ratio.

What's the stock rear, 39?  I'll assume 39.

16/39=   0.41
15/39=   0.38
14/39=   0.36
13/39=   0.33
12/39=   0.31
11/39=   0.28
10/39=   0.26
9/39=   0.23
8/39=   0.21
7/39=   0.18
6/39=   0.15
5/39=   0.56
4/39=   0.1
3/39=   0.08
2/39=   0.05
1/39=   0.03
0/39=   0

Obviously, zero teeth is better on the front.

stock front is 16t stock rear is 39T .

larger in the rear does the same as smaller in the front.  and I beleive I heard that the smaller the front sprocket the more stress on it? someone here told me that at one point in time.
