Personally, my feelings/thoughts toward him wouldn't change a bit if I found he's g-a-y, bi, straight, purple. I like his acting, and to me, one's sexual orientation is akin to hair colour or height...it is what it is.

I remember being a bit put out when I found out that George Michael is g-a-y, but not due to the fact that he's ghey. It was more due to the fact that he rose to fame as a sex symbol for teenage girls, and then he RESENTED that period of time in his life (I guess in his mind, he felt as though he'd sold out). Why resent what put you on top? Everyone goes through phases, and that was simply one phase for him. He could look at it as one of the chapters that's allowed him to go on and to express himself as he REALLY wants to as an artist, rather than choosing to bite the hands that put him on top (so to speak ).

re g@y by appearances: You can tell a lot by appearances but I would be hesitant to judge based on a picture or two. Or even give a sh!t. When I was younger, skinny, and had a shaved head, there were people who took me for g@y and would say as much via body language and behavior. Sometimes I heard comments. Usually meathead or corporate type guys. I have to say it was pretty depressing not to mention highly invasive, a form of hostile discrimination which was totally mistaken, and basically just pissed me off. For some people it triggers a real insecurity, like a crisis they have to deal with, and they have to go on the offensive about it to avoid feeling g@y themselves. All I have to say is, why the f do you care so much? I'll quote Moss (Al Pacino's character) from Glengarry Glen Ross: "You think you're qu&&r? I'm going to tell you something. We're all qu&&r."
