Yup, as long as there isn't a crease in the tubes.  I had it done at a small repair shop/ racer's shop for $70.  It just takes someone who knows what they're doing and a press to do it with

Hey Joel,
Now you're asking how to straighten your fork tubes?
Man, oh man.
For almost a month you have been posting multiple threads about having crashed your late model GS500 accidentally in a parking lot by hitting a concrete tire stop and bending your forks.
You then asked for help locating replacements.
I offered to sell you a spare set from my 1991 GS500 for cheap -- $75 plus shipping.
A bunch of other people on our site then helped you with cross-referencing info to let you know that my older forks will fit on your late model GS.
You and I set up the sale and you sent me money via Paypal.
That's when I noticed that your name and the name on the Paypal account weren't the same and that the Paypal account was unconfirmed, meaning I had no protection in the event of fraud or problems.
Then you told me you were using your friend's Paypal account because you hadn't yet received your own bank card and because you were trying to hide the crash from your parents (they haven't noticed your bike being damaged or not around lately?).
After that, I returned your money via Paypal because I didn't feel comfortable with the account you were using -- you could have reversed the payment once you got the parts and I would have had no recourse or protection.
You said it wasn't a problem, and that you understood, then you agreed to send me a safe and easily cashable US Postal Service money order for the forks.
A day or two later, you e-mailed me to tell me you couldn't send the money because you had an unexpected bill and money problems but wondered if I'd just sell you the fork tubes, rather than the fork assemblies.
I rejected that idea.
Now I see you are still looking for forks on the site a few days ago, and now you are asking about straightening your bent tubes -- which is never a good idea.
I must say, I made you a good offer to buy my forks, packed them carefully for you and awaited your money.
I just think you wasted my time and continue to waste the time of everyone else here.
I wanted to help you get your bike fixed and thought I was doing my best to do that.
What's the story?

Todd, it's never a good idea to wait for "dibs" people to bite the bullit.  Half the time I don't even bother pulling the parts until I have the cash in hand.

Oh and you can purchase paypal protection for any transaction.

OK Joel,
I just e-mailed you back.
Send me the US Postal Service money order and I will send the forks out to you via UPS after the money arrives here.
I hope you get your bike back together soon and the rest of the stuff will fall into place.
Best wishes,
Todd
