I just put Pirelli sport demons on my bike. Put the normal 110 up front but opted for a 140 in the rear. Love the feel of it so far.

same here a 140/80 rear  great feel  and more confident on turns

so what you say 110 melemeters on the front  and 130 melemeters in the back will give you the ultimate grip on gs-e ???????? :icon_mrgreen:

its a combination of tire size, and the rubber compound I think that make the best grip.  certain tires will definately grip VERY well, and others are just crap.

just to update, I had a second rim and a free 120 tire on hand, so I put it on the wheel just for fun.   putting it next to the 130 rear, I cant really see any major difference in the contact patch, but it will limit the ability to lean over farther.    but if you're not pushing it hard, I think it would be ok.
