scratched the CR500R engine.  While having a mean two-stroke streetbike would be hot it would probably get old.  Going to settle for my tweaked 400cc maxim engine...nice little torquey twin.

Here's a few more pics of the bike I'm trying to nab...

Hey Mak if you do decide on a two stroke Look into a good Used Suzuki RMX250 they are almost the same as the RM250 but have the Lighting Coil.
I believe the first Year was 91 but they were Sold up to around 2000 Maybe. With the CR500 you'll have to go thru Baja Designs to get a lighting Kit I believe. :icon_confused:

I was looking at the RMX just because of that...but they really only put out 60w.  That's enough if I use an all LED/HID setup but, really, I can't find the engines.

Though I wanted a badass ultralight 2-stroke I decided to run with my 400 engine.  I have it on hand and ready to go.  Plus, it's a suspended motor so it'll be easier to setup.  It has a 200w coil, too.

~my 400 also puts down more power over all than the CR500 does.
