No concealed weapons in Canada, unless you're a cop. I don't even think citizens can legally own handguns, just rifles. IIRC.

Although the application process is fairly vigorous (interviews, tests) and you need a PAL license to purchase the handgun as well as ammunition, it is possible to legally own a sidearm in Canada. Another special license is needed to legally carry a concealed weapon, but it is rarely issued to private citizens.
