Just Cleaned!

Hi,
I had my gs's carburators cleaned at the dealer in octuber or november. The bike ran perfect, I took it on a 20 mile ride and then parked for 2 days. After that I try to turn it on and it did  not start! . Today since the weather was nice, I took the carburators apart and they were filled with a gummy stuff wich I cleanned. Then I put everything back togeather and I also added a fuel filter. started the bike without any problem, it ran for like 15 minutes and then it died again...

Question:

what is wrong???

After two days, you carburetor should not fill up with "gummy stuff".  Get new fuel.

Gas will gel if it goes unused for weeks/months.  Pull the Carbs, clean them again, drain all the old gas, put fresh gas in the tank, set the petcock on PRI and start it up.  I'm guessing that you didn't drain the old fuel in the tank/lines after you cleaned the carbs.  Add a fuel stabilizer to the tank before you store your bike again.

No, I did not change the fuel after I stored it nor after I cleaned the carbs for the 2nd time. I will drain the tank and add new fuel tomorrow, I hope this works!

QUESTION: I added a fuel filter, do I have to clean the carbs again or just the filter and add new fuel?

Clean the carbs again and replace the fuel filter.

Yes!
I got it  fixed now. The problem was that I forgot to open the valve on the fuel tank I'm ashamed. When I opened the valve gas started to come out like crazy! I had a broken fuel line, so I guess it was a good thing I did not open the valve last night  after all.
