I have saw this rider wearing light blue jacket, brown polyester pants, white socks and black loafters.....how important is it to you to look good on your bike?  Does your gear match your bike ?  Does your bike match your gear ?   I would not step out of the house wearing what that guy was wearing.... let alone ride my bike.  I like to show off myself and my bike.  Wearing nice colors  and making yourself standout in traffic is important as to your riding skills....JMHO. :icon_razz: :kiss3:

Only squids match their gear to their bike and vice versa. That being said, I have black/silver gloves, black/silver helmet, and a black/silver/white jacket to match my black/silver bike.

However, my leathers are bright blue and white, because I'm more concerned with protecting my ass than looking good.

Hang out there, we may flame, but we don't hate.

My attitude is in serious need of readjustment, and I'm ok with that.

My leather jacket and mesh jacket match both the GS and the R6, but my helmet is mainly black and yellow.

The more I learn about women, the more I love my bike.

Black, silver, and gold bike. Black leather jacket, black and silver street helmet, red, gray, and black motocross helmet, black short cuff gloves, white gauntlet gloves.

So yeah. I guess I match.

My track setup is, on the other hand, not something that many people would consider "fashionable". Blue, yellow, black, and green plastics. Blue, black, and white leathers, red helmet.

I wear a white jacket and a red helmet. My bike is white and red.

If you buy the bike first why not get gear that matches?

However matching is just a nicety, not actually important.
Rich, RIP.

Red bike.  Black leather jacket, black textile pants, and helmet with red/black/white graphics. I like to match, but only for me. I don't care what others think, but I want to look in the mirror and see a MATCHING squidly power ranger...for ME!!  :icon_mrgreen:

wearing gear to get noticed for me has nothing to do with impressing, it's colors that get seen. I'll never wear all black for 2 reasons, #1 because it's too damn hot in nice weather, #2 because cager's vision will pass right over you. i could care less about what the hot chick in the car next to me thinks of my gear, i can't talk to her through my helmet well enough anyways.

all black at night is VERY farkin dangerous. and OP (cbr) im tryin to visualise that guy dressed as you described

i'm all leathered up on fun rides, but on my less than 2 mile commute to the office everyday, its my black leather jacket and khaki pants and loafers.   I've never been too worried about what other guys think about my shoes :flipoff:

When I lived in ATL, commuting had me in a leather Jacket and kahki's  everyday. About 26 miles.  I rode jacket less a few times, until I met Mr. pavement, Mr. Gravity and Mr. Speed all at the same time.

You know I really like those guys, but I hate bumping into them all together like that. That day, I was in a dress shirt and kahkis.  Needless to say I am missing some meat on my elbows and knees.

Nowadays, after putting the whole "officespace" cubicle behind me, I work as a civilian contractor.  My work space allows for facial hair and hair down to my shoulders.  T-shirts and Jeans everyday.

Jacket everyday.  Silver and black. Helmet silver and black.  But I am no Fashion statement. I either look like I stepped off a ranch or stepped off a skateboard.

Matching is more important than anything...  #1 priority.

That's exactly why I have black boots, black pants, black/gray jacket, Yellow/Black Jacket, Yellow/white/gray/black helmet, Yellow/Black gloves...  And a Blue bike.

I thought about going all skittles on it, but I don't like red.   :dunno_white:

Jacket 1, Jacket 2, Jacket 3...  Gloves 1, Gloves 2, Gloves 3...  Boots...  Pants...

See!  It all matches!  Totally!!!
