Oh yeah, and he did f%$king kill someone. In case you didn't notice.

And if anyone could get this deal, well that's f%&ked up. You killed someone. You were convicted of manslaughter. That stays on your record.

Do I think him being whoever mattered? Maybe? Does that change my conviction that this is really messed up? No.

Come to think of it, I have a history of disregard for road laws and recklessness.

Can Justice really be just in the eyes of all? 
The victims Family will say an eye for an eye, lock him up forever.  The defendents family will say he made a mistake, have mercy.

Where is the middle ground?  My guess is, for this reason we have a justice system.

As a biker I say stick a lightning rod up his ass and fry him.

As a dude who has been convicted of reckless driving/leaving the scene of an accident, has done things like changing drivers will driving, weaving through traffic, speeding, having sex while driving....ect... I'd say locking up for a really long time is a bit much.

But he did take a life, so I don't know.  I've made some really dumb decisions behind the wheel and am lucky to have never taken a life.

How does he know he didn't intent to run the stop sign if he doesn't remember the accident?  And...  How on earth does he not remember the accident?  And...  Why would the give someone their driver's license back if they don't actually remember killing someone?

I mean...  Did he black out?  Does he have Alzheimer's?  What the hell?
