Plastic Windscreen Screws??

I've been hearing a fairly loud buzz around 4500-5000 RPM...  I tightened the winscreen screws a bit and it became less noticable.  So  I tried tightening them more and I stripped them because they are plastic.... what's up with that?  Is there anywhere I can get a metal equivelent?  Anyone else have the buzzing problem?
