Hey,
So come mid May I'm riding shotgun w/ a buddy on his move from New Orleans, LA to Seattle, Wa. We are picking the route to take right now, he wants to head across Texas and skip past the US/ Mexico border in New Mexico and head over to Los Angles and ride up the coast to Seattle from there. I am not wild of riding through Tx the long way and seeing all that desert just to hit tons of traffic in LA. I'd prefer to head to Dallas then through Oklahoma then North to KS to Colorado then North to WY then shoot West through Montana. I've always wanted to see the badlands and out West. What do y'all think???

Your route sounds much smarter...  Have a fun trip though!  Take lots of pictures and post them up for us!

Say hi while you're up here.   :icon_mrgreen:

I had a great drive through Nevada...  From Lost Wages to Reno...  Entirely through Nevada...

The best part:  Speeding tickets aren't Moving Violations in rural Nevada. (At least two years ago)  :icon_mrgreen:  I got to drive my wife's Hyundai at about 115 MPH.  I got pulled over slowing down.  I was still doing 85 when the speed limit shifted down to 50 outside some small town...  $100 or so...  It was lame to get caught, but it was great going that fast.   :icon_mrgreen:
