Well, it was this forum that got me back into bikes 5 years ago and the GS500 was exactly the right bike to choose. Hey, I'm still walking without a limp....on a good day and am a much better driver from the whole experience.
A K75RT (P) followed and it  got the BMW virus out of my system - hopefully for good.
Now I'm on a sister ship, the 650 VStrom and like it a lot. Slowly farkelling it to my taste, which is plain and functional.
ANyhoo, I haven't been around this site for a while and thought I'd say "Thanks for the company" before I left. Thanks even to Srinath who ranted all over me on a post I thought was humorous and others who helped me get off the fence and get out there.
