Hmm just My Opinion but You should Be OK for just a Month.you may want to take the battery out and Keep it Charged.
If it's Not Broke Modify it.

yeah I left my bike sitting for three weeks outside with no prep. and it fired up just fine and was happy to see me again when I returned.

perhaps you could get someone to (IFF you felt comfortable w/ them doing it) start it up halfway thru and just run the engine for a minute or two if you really wanted.

That's counterproductive. Short runs don't get the oil up to temp to burn off impurities, and don't recharge the battery either. Better just to pour some stabil in the gas, run the bike for a minute or so, then pull the battery and put it on a trickle charger. (The stabil may not be necessary.. I heard horror stories of gas gelling in weeks, but my bike sat for about 4 months, and started right up on the bad gas...)

Hang out there, we may flame, but we don't hate.

My attitude is in serious need of readjustment, and I'm ok with that.

If you're in California, feel free to leave her in my garage... I'll make sure she's exercised....  :icon_mrgreen: ;)
