Newbie here!!!

Hey guys out there, I just purchased a new to me 1990 gs500e with 15k on the clock and in quite clean condition.  Almost everything stock except a tank bra and a chin spoiler piece as well as a windshield.  I am currently taking my msf course and just got my permit.  I live here in Eureka, CA where most of the time it seems as though it is raining
Well, I just figured I'd introduce myself and get involved with things that I'm going to be needing to do and learn from any of your mistakes as well as the wealth of knowlege I've found here while prowling without a username.

by the way, any known gs riders in the northern (I mean real northern, as in above santa rosa) area?  I live about an hour and a half from the oregon border and would like to get to meet up with any riders.
