Good luck with the search. If you can find one of got what's left of mine. Lower end and Head. Pretty much all parts removed that could be easily unscrewed.

About the only thing good on what I have is the head and covers. I need a lower end and cylinder barrels and pistons. just so much easier to just buy and replace.

the motor I have came off a wrecked bike,   milage is an unknown since I have no gauges, but I"m going to guess around 20k on it,  no leaks, and it looks alright, just a few minor chips on the exterior covers, a few minor parts are missing.     all you'd HAVE to replace is the gear change shaft.  someone screwed that up good pulling the lever off.

What electrical stuff are you talking about? how hard is it to replace that shaft? What about it is damaged? What a shame about that, for something so simple.

IT has no ignition components, no stator,  and I dont have a wire harness.  if that stuff is ok on the motor you have you can probably just swap it over.   the shaft, the splines the shift lever fasten to are  pretty mangled, like someone tried to hammer the lever on, and misaligned the splines in the process,  I"d imagine it to be a fairly easy fix.  I'm missing a few little covers that go on the sides, but again, if you've got em, just bolt em on.

I am just covering my bases, as you know, I'm not seeing much of a light at the end of that tunnel, so I Have to "get the line back in the water"
