Frame hasn't been stripped and painted yet. After the seat frame is fabricated the entire frame will be sandblasted and painted.

Paint Vs Powder - that triple was powdercoated 2 years ago. Agreed its seen very little weather, but you'd see in a few years how well powder holds up.
I now have a new guy who can do some exotic colors in very very thick coats - try 10 thousandths of an inch. Yea, enough to make bolt holes disappear.

I love what you are doing to your bike !! exellent, awesome, superb, I only wish have the money and equipment to do something like that on mine.. for now on i am only changing lamps, exhaust end I need a tank painting.

i will like all the people that said to me that gs500 does not have any future with mods, to see yours.

Theres a few people with heavyly Modifyed Gs's

Dgyver's Race Bike , And his Street gs , i think he sold his racebike
Jims , Stunning 8 Ball , but thats a league of its own
Charlie's Is gonna be a Nice one
Mine, when its complete
Bobs Racebike was stunning , as saw from build up ,
Gstwizzle's Is coming together
Fililpes Gs is stunning also

Infact there are loads ,

this a little stupid option !! but I whant to share .
when i was installing my led clear taillight i just notice that you can put the lens cover upside down and gige a better looking . you just to push harder and it will fit you have to drill on a bolt in the upper side so it wont went out by the pressure.. i doit with the red old cover . but with the clear i just put it on like suppouse.

he he he he whats the matter with my twincam the bike is twin cam !!! lol why take it off ?
when i got the bike was there i have't take it off becaus i am waiting to paint the gas tank and put on the new decal set . but yes you are correct about the sticker is a little stupid !! but does not bother me for now. when I painted the bike i will take it off an bye bye twincam

I am really not spending that much money and I am doing it all with regular tools! Thanks for the compliments! I can't wait to get it on the road!

Wow. An excellent job thus far, keep up the quality work. I've got a full on GS rebuild going on right now myself, and I like the direction you're heading with your mods. I'm restoring to mostly stock for the moment. I hope to have the latest pics up by the end of this weekend.

I sold my 555 race bike several years ago, which I regret having to do.
I have another track bike that I pulled the 541 motor for my 92. I may be putting a 569 in the track bike.
I also have a completely rebuilt and modified street 97.

I always love seeing what others are doing to their GS's. They are great platforms for displaying the creativity of others.

retro is in i'd leave the twin cam stickers on. great job and those wheels look awesome but i bet they are a Buddha Loves You to keep pretty. oh an pretty nice 9/11 of someone else's thread
