sorry for a fast reply but had church. I am on like 6 sites. I found this ite do to thinking of buying a 94 GS500E. I came to look & get info but my first search was TURBO & then found this post.

Man we hava a site & people that can help with a lot of turbo, nos or asperated info we all work together on other sites also.

Few people use power adders.The crankshaft is prone to breaking above 50hp.If you want more power see this thread.It's cheaper than NOS or turbo.

i was getting it for a fun cheap on gas ride BUT my first look was turbo here. LOL
can't leave anything alone. LOL

Only 1 that I know of has been successfully turbo'd.It had to have fuel injection add to run properly.I don't think it made more power than a quality engine build.It just came on faster.You can build an engine far cheaper and more reliable than using a power adder.

I'm not planning on turboing this bike.  Probably the reason this thread came up when you searched "turbo" is because I talked about my 99 Subaru 2.5RS that I swapped in a STi Turbo motor.

I got my starter solenoid today, all I need now is controls, levers, grips, front rotor, and sonic springs.

Not done yet, but soon!  I promise!  I have had a lot going on lately so I haven't had much time to work on the bike. 

Battery is ordered, undertail protection will be fabricated soon.  Only thing left after that is to rebuild the front end and decide on a headlight setup.  It will be done soon....I hope.

Made a little progress on the bike today.  I mounted the battery box (no pic of that).  Also rivited a piece of ABS plastic on the bottom of the seat frame to protect the wiring.  Notice in the pics the Ducati monster side cover under the seat.  I'll have them mounted permanetly this week.

Thanks!  The side covers are from a Ducati Monster 800 Dark.

Thanks!  It will get USD forks at some point.  Probably won't go to the trouble of a kat rear wheel though.

Screw the kat rear wheel ... its needs a 916 swingarm and 916 front and rear wheels.
