People typically travel at 10mph over whatever the posted speed limit is. Including school zones! Again, this is something I've read, in a police report no less! Lane splitting to a red light when all the cars are stopped is by far the least dangerous, I try to time the light so that I lane split up to the second set of cars and as soon as the light turns green then roar out between the first two cars, that way I don't have to put my foot down or start from a standstill, and I get a nice roll-on, but I do watch the opposing left turn lane for anybody running a red left turn light.
The motorcycle is no longer the hobby, the skill has become the hobby.

Power does not compare to skill.  What good is power without the skill to use it?
