hello,

1)
i installed new handlebars on my 91 gs500e and everything went rather well, except now the turning indicators do not work. perhaps i pulled a wire loose. any suggestions from those that have had this problem would be awesome.

FYI, clubman handlebars look cool...but are godawful uncomfortable. took em right off and put the stock bars back on.

2)
my bike idles at around 1500 rpms when it is warming up, after ive choked it for a bit. but after about 10 mins of running, she climbs up to 3000-3500 rpms idling. is this too high? it seems like it.

thanks yall

Are you turning the choke off?????   yes  3k-3.5k is way too high :o   A rejet wouldn't hurt either :thumb: :thumb:

As far as the signal....yeah you probably just pulled something loose :icon_rolleyes:

I had my idle set to about 1200 after just letting it warm up for a few minutes. Then I went on a ride and after about 20 minutes it was idling around 3000, so I turned it down to 1200 and it idles fine.  What I'm trying to say is you should det your idle after you have warmed your bike up well, i.e. a short 10 minute ride.

i did actually have to adjust the throttle cable because in switching out the handlebars i messed it up. so i dont think thats it, but ill give it a second look. the choke appears to work correctly. is there another way to adjust the idle??? i know theres a throttle adjustment on the bottom of the carb, but im not sure i wanna start messin with that.
