Bike is running like a charm now.  Small leak in right front fork.

RECENT WORK DONE:
Replaced headlight
Fixed mirrors
Fork seals (although right side is still weeping)
Russell stainless braided front brake line
New (<200 miles) Metzler tires front and rear
Replaced gas tank
Carbs rejetted
New K&N "lunchbox" filter
New fuel lines
New upper petcock
New battery
Recent oil and filter change

EXTRA PARTS:
WileyCo exhaust
spare valve shims
semi-broken wind screen and fairing
extra gas tank and plastics

Clean title, roughly 24k miles.
Frame was painted white and the previous owner did a horrible job. So cosmetically it is nothing special.

I'd like to get rid of it.  $900 OBO.

Hang out there, we may flame, but we don't hate.

My attitude is in serious need of readjustment, and I'm ok with that.

GET OUT OF HERE YOU DAMN VULTURES!

Honestly, if you're up for the work (there's probably a lot of it), you might make more money parting it out.  It sounds to me like you want to wash your hands of it though.

I'm still sad to hear this.

No ... please do not follow this advice.
I have Jetswings motorcycle as proof that that doesn't work. He will have made much more $$ fixing the valve cover gasket and selling it as 1 lot. The bike looked great too. Instead he sold the body and dash and some stuff for couple 100 and the rest is in my garage after he tried to sell it for a few months. I paid 350 I think. Its easier to fix yours than part it out, its easier to sell a full running bike than part it out, and its will make you more $$ than parting it out.
90% of the GS ... lets face it, is worthless. Wheels, shocks, triples, front suspension, frame, motor etc ... you'd never sell in over 6 months.
The Tank + cosmetics and dash etc will go in 1 day. This will net you 200 or so.
The rest like carbs, seat and some electricals you would prolly sell in a month. This may make you 50-100.
Cool.

Jace009gs

is shipping an option? From foward air or maybe a really really long drive in a u-haul...LET me know your zip code so I can get a ball park figure.

Thanks

01880.  Shipping is an option, but payment must be made in advance 100%.  I can email a copy of the title for confirmation and FedEx the signed title to your address once payment is made.

i've never dealt with shipping, so ask me questions now and be prepared to handle logistics.
