Stupid Toshiba

My mom bought this little POS Toshiba laptop last year for dirt cheap at best buy ( I think like $250 )  And it completely died.........one of those famous XP fatal errors   Now she's throwing a fit at me cause I don't know how to fix it   Appearantly I'm supposed to be tech-support.   I told her how to fix it
Step 1: place in Driveway
Step 2: Run over with car
Step 3: soak in Gas
Step 4: Incinerate
Step 5: Buy a f%$king Mac

Anyway she throwing all sorts of tantrums because I won't drop everything and fix her computer for her
I'm gonna lose my mind if I don't get on active duty soon
f%$king people are the most childish retarded assholes sometimes
I told her, take your POS to one of the shops in town that works on computers, just stop expecting me to drop everything to fix a cheap POS, when you couldn't be bothered to actually keep your boot/recovery discs

You don't need boot/recovery disks...if it was just a windows error the most likely cause was her...download discs are available from toshiba with all the drivers, and any windows CD matching her OEM installed version will work, just type in the code thats on the bottom sticker...if its a hardware issue, thats another story...

I dunno it starts to run windows then completely shuts off   I hate PC's
I have anger issues
Maybe it would have been better if she hadn't expected me to put a new garbage disposal in at the same time   I finally got sick of trying to undo the locknut on the disposal and broke out my good friend mr. pliers and twisted the retaining lip inwards and watched it fall   Just about got the new one in and I'm pretty sure she's going off to the shop to have her laptop looked at

yup let pastrana help you . I love YOU well be charged about 75 bucks just to look at it then charged about 50-100 bucks an hour to work on it . depending on how steep the compay is about labor hour

Hey thanks for the offer but she ran off with it already   Bad news:  There are physical signs of heat damage on the Hard Drive   I'm going to take a look at it before they do anything but they told here 250 and that includes labor and parts with a RAM upgrade and new HD with XP on it

Toshibas are notorious for overheating if she gets it fixed, have her go to Wally World and buy a cooling pad to keep under it..

yes do that . get that paid its only about 20 bucks or so give or take every walmart is diffrent ( i know i work there) but she was probly good about sitting it down and covering them fans up on the bottom

yeah that's what the shop said, too.   I'll probably just pick one up for her   She's the type that'll just blow it off until the damn thing breaks again   I've been meaning to get one for my Mac anyway.
