Does anyone know if it's aluminum or not?
Since the paint always strips off I was thinking of polishing it, in case it is aluminum :dunno_white:

It is some kind of die casting alloy.  Who knows what, maybe Zamak.  However, I polished the key hole cover and it came out looking like Aluminum.  Err...  It was shiny anyway.  However, it will corrode quickly if you don't laquer or wax it just like Zamak.

The outside ring is some kind of Aluminum.

Every zero you add to the tolerance adds a zero to the price.

If the product "fails" will the product liability insurance pay for the "failure" until it turns 18?
