OK So Idk if this means I need a carb clean or what, but at first it would sputter and not get above 3 rpm when moving, but now I cant even pull the throttle without  a sputter and back fire out of the right carb I think. What do you suggest?

Cant hurt to pull em and clean em out... you can always try the easy out first and get some seafoam to run through it.

How many miles? What year? Then we can give you some better ideas  :thumb:

04 8k miles
Ill try the seafoam, I think the spark plugs need to be changed too.

I pulled one out and its all charred white, does any know spark plug signs?

Well.. Plugs are easy and cheap so I would change those for shure  :thumb: And the sea foam... Search on here for others who have used it, there is good info on how much, and how to use it  :thumb:

Also there is a good how to on carb cleaning.. its not very hard either  :thumb:

With the plug being white, I would saycould be a bit on the lean side but with 8k... ? change them and check again in a few miles  :thumb:. the seafoam is a good start but you may need to pull them apart and do it the old fasioned way  :icon_mrgreen: Be sure to check the air filter as well  :thumb:

white plugs = lean. Stock bike + lunchbox = SUPER lean... Seriously, either rejet or put the stock airbox back on before you destroy your engine.

Hang out there, we may flame, but we don't hate.

My attitude is in serious need of readjustment, and I'm ok with that.

robbie

exactly what my buddy said, I dropped in a lunchbox and it got worse. We found a paint chip in the right main jet.

Ill check the wiki for jets unless anyone else knows places to get some good ones
I got a 04 with lunchbox filter and stock exhaust what do you suggest?

Might be time for a valve adjustment (every 4k miles).
