Quote from: JoeTM12Well Im looking for a bike that has some power but not enough so i wont kill myself but also enough so i can have a lil fun 8)  and also something cheap to maintain, run, and keep. I know ppl in here will be a lil leaneant towards the gs500 but i was wondering what it has compared 2 other bikes.

You can kill yourself on anything. You just have to try hard enough. :)  I once promised myself I wouldn't buy the same bike twice, because I always wanted to try something different and to gain the experience of owning different bikes, but I liked the '90 I owned in Hawaii so much I bought a '94 when I got back to the states.
The motorcycle is no longer the hobby, the skill has become the hobby.

Power does not compare to skill.  What good is power without the skill to use it?
