hhhmmmm cruising along today at 60km/h (first bike and gee I love it :thumb: ) and the speedo goes psycho, the needle is jumping from 60 to 40 to 50 to 20 and finally 0.... so I rode off to the dealer I brought the bike from last friday, about 30km away through the city with no speedo and it turns out the factory didn't align the marks of the speedo cable up with where it attaches and that caused the problem.... the dealer was fantastic, got straight on with it and explained what happened etc  couldn't ask for anything more :thumb:

I'm thankful it was just the speedo cable and nothing more serious!, anyone else had minor issues under warranty?

Thankfully no, mine was all good through its warranty period and still running strong (2003 model) :thumb:

On those days when life is a little too much and nothing seems to be going right, I pause for a moment to ponder the wise last words of my grandfather:  "I wonder where the mother bear is?"

clutch cable at 1700 miles, and I am waiting for the Tach to go.  End of last year it would occassionally loose the signal and freak out.  So far this year no problem.  either way I have coverage until this Fall so I have time.
